Brand Review, Next
Next - is Litegreen

Next did really well on the Litegreen stakes.
Just to give you an idea of the scale of operations of some of our High Street brands Next have some 1,360 factories in 46 countries. And all of this is monitored by 19 individuals who carried out 550 audits last year across 29 countries.
And this commitment is well beyond most of their competitors.
They also belong to the Ethical Trading Initiative (ETI) and are listed under the FTSE4 Good which gives us great comfort. In the Labour Behind the Label 'Let's clean up Fashion' report they achieve the highest ranking alongside Gap. (In fairness we should stress that the Labour Behind the Label do not believe anyone addresses this issues fully but that Next and Gap are currently the best in the field).
They also have an Environmental Report which, according to the Ethical Consumer Research Association (ECRA), does look at specific impacts and set targets although this is not currently subject to independent monitoring.
All in all it is fair to say that Next are a leading example of a company we consider Litegreen and more proof that whatever your price range, there is always a Litegreen option.
