Diesel - is not Litegreen
Congratulations to Diesel for confusing us more than any other brand.
At first glance their website promised great things with a flash banner emblazoning the words 'Global Warming Ready'. Kindred spirits surely.
Now just maybe Diesel caught us a bit late at night when we were near to our twentieth review of the day and our sense of humours were just starting to flag. But we couldn't find any useful information on what Diesel were actually doing to help the climate.
According to the Ethical Consumer Research Association's (ECRA) most recent information there was no reply to a written request for an Environmental Report. We also couldn't find evidence that the website displayed a Code of Conduct for Workers Rights and Diesel were a non responder to Not on the Label when researching their 'Let's Clean up Fashion' report.
It's a great shame, we love Diesel jeans but until we can see that they are 'Global Warming Ready' there is no Litegreen rating.
